The existing roof was roughly 30 years old and showing significant signs of failure, including visible warping and potential structural issues underneath the shingles.‍The homeowner was aware that the underlying wood decking might require attention. Key Upgrades & Materials

‍For this project, we moved away from standard builder-grade materials to a robust system designed for high wind performance and durability. We utilized Tamko products to ensure a long-lasting defense against the elements.‍The scope of work included:

• Premium Shingles: Installation of Tamko Titan XT Architectural Shingles in Shadow Grey. These shingles are renowned for their "AnchorLock" layer, providing superior wind resistance compared to standard options.

• Decking Rehabilitation: As anticipated, we inspected the entire deck and replaced damaged OSB sheathing where the wood had rotted or warped over the last 30 years.

• Ventilation Improvements: We installed new Alum Slant Back Static Vents (Black) and upgraded the exhaust system with Broan Bath/Dryer Vents to prevent future moisture buildup in the attic space.
