The tenant and owner coordinated with the neighbors on the other side of the shared roof, who also wanted to proceed with a replacement simultaneously.‍Our Leesburg team met with both parties to streamline the process. Coordinating the replacement prevents the awkward "tie-in" seams that occur when neighbors replace roofs years apart, ensuring a continuous, watertight system across the entire structure.‍

Key Upgrades & Materials

‍We delivered a uniform, high-performance upgrade for this 2-story townhome.‍The project specifications included:

• Architectural Shingles: We installed Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Architectural Shingles in Williamsburg Gray. This classic color provides a cohesive, slate-like appearance that boosts curb appeal for both units.

• Active Ventilation: To keep the upper floors comfortable, we installed a new GAF Master-Flo Power Fan (Black). Active ventilation is often critical in townhomes where ridge lines may be limited or shared.

• Pipe Protection: We upgraded the plumbing penetrations with Lifetime Plumbing Boots and protective Pipe Sleeves . This ensures the seals around the pipes last as long as the shingles themselves.

• Proper Exhaust: We replaced the dedicated 4" Broan Bath/Dryer Vent to ensure moisture from inside the home is vented safely outside, preventing attic mold.
